Description

The wall and gateway attached to the east of the northern range at Shelley Hall date from the 16th century, with a gateway in the style of the 18th century. The wall is constructed of red brick in English Bond, featuring a plinth and a later capping, extending approximately 28 meters to the east. The gate columns are square with moulded heads and ball finials on stems. The gateway includes matching panels on both the right and left sides, with vertically boarded bases and geometric trellised upper panels.
