Description

The cottage adjoining the Marquis Cornwallis Inn is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building located to the north of the inn. The ground floor is faced with painted brick, and there is a weatherboarded stable addition extending to the north. The main block has a tiled roof, while the stable addition features a pantiled roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-window range of horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. It also has boarded doors. The upper storey displays the remains of panel pargetting, and there is a ridge chimney stack.
