Description

28 Market Hill is an 18th-century building of three storeys and one window. The front is faced in stucco and painted. It has flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars, and a large ornamental window with pointed upper panes and a delicate carved enriched cornice. A 20th-century cast-iron balcony is present on the first floor. The roof is slate, with a small eaves soffit. The ground floor has been converted into a shop with a deep fascia. The building forms part of a group of listed buildings on the South Side of Market Hill.
