Description

Blacksmith’s Cottage is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered cottage, originally used in conjunction with a forge. It was renovated and altered in the 20th century. The cottage is single-story, with a central block and lower additions to the north-west and south-east. It has 20th-century casement windows. A modern gabled porch projects from the front. The roof is tiled, and a tall, tapering chimney stack rises at the south-east end of the main block. The building has group value from its contribution to the character of the area.
