Description

Mere House is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered house located on Bures Road in Little Cornard. It is of group value. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The windows are 3-light leaded casements. The central window on the upper storey has a semi-circular head. A central entrance features a 6-panel door with a moulded architrave, frieze, and cornice. The roof is tiled, with a cover plaster eaves soffit and end chimney stacks. A later addition extends from the north end of the building.
