Description
The White Hart Inn is an early 19th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on the east side of Little St Mary's in Long Melford. It features rusticated quoins and may have an earlier core. The building has been renovated in the 20th century and stands two storeys high with cellars. It has a three-window range, with double-hung sash windows that include vertical glazing bars. The ground storey windows are three-light with narrow side lights. A central entrance to the bar from the 19th century has two doorways separated by a two-light window, topped with a cornice on console brackets. The roof is tiled, dating from the 20th century, and has overhanging eaves supported by paired brackets.
