Description

This is a range of three early to mid-19th century semi-detached houses located on Polstead Street. The houses are built of red brick, with painted and colour-washed facades. Each house is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The windows are predominantly double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in plain reveals with segmental heads. Numbers 9 and 10 have 20th-century casement windows. The roofs are slate-covered, with a central square chimney stack on each house. The buildings are included in the listing for their contribution to the group value of the street.
