Description

Holly Tree Cottage is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house located on Polstead Street in Stoke-by-Nayland. The building has two storeys, with a single storey addition at the north end. It features a two-window range with casement windows. The central entrance is a six-panel door, where the upper four panels are glazed, framed by a moulded architrave and topped with a pediment supported by console brackets. The roofs are tiled, and there is a tall rectangular chimney stack at the north end. Additionally, a wing extends at the rear of the cottage.
