Description

Oak Bough is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th to 17th centuries, located in Stoke-by-Nayland. It features a cross wing projecting to the north, with the upper storey of this wing jettied. The house is two storeys high. The upper-storey windows now contain modern casements, while the ground-floor windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The roof is tiled, using old tiles, and has external chimney stacks positioned at the north and south ends.
