Description

The Corner House and The Open Road Bookshop is a former house and butcher's shop located in Stoke-by-Nayland on Park Street. This building dates from the 18th century and features a timber-framed and plastered structure. At the southeast end, there is a small 19th-century shop front with a flat canopy supported by wooden posts. A red brick wing extends to the northeast at the rear. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. There is also a six-panel door, and the roofs are tiled. At the time of the survey, the property was unoccupied.
