Description
Park Street Stores is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on the south-west side of Park Street in Stoke-by-Nayland. The structure features cross wings at both the north-west and south-east ends and stands two storeys tall. The south-east end includes a two-storey extension to the cross wing, with both the cross wings and the extension jettied on the upper storey. The central part of the building has been extended at the ground storey and features a 19th-century shop front, while the south-east end also includes shop windows. The upper storey has a range of four windows, consisting of three-light casements, and the window in the centre block has old leaded casements. The roof is tiled.
