Description

Postboys is an 18th century timber-framed and plastered house located on Polstead Street in Stoke-by-Nayland. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars. Other windows on the property are casements with leaded lights. The central doorway is framed by a wooden doorcase that includes a moulded architrave, a decorated frieze, and a cornice. The roof is tiled and has a coved plaster eaves cornice, along with two flat-headed dormers on the front.
