Description

Alde House is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The front elevation features a large oval plaster panel bearing the initials “C” over “I A” and the date 1714, positioned above a heart. The house is two storeys high, with a five-window front featuring casement windows with leaded lights. A gabled porch projects from the front, covered with a tiled roof and bearing the inscription "IULY X MDCCXIV". The roof is also tiled.
