Description

Hillberry Cottage is a cottage that forms one of a pair, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is half hipped and thatched, featuring a central red brick chimney stack. The cottage has one storey and attics, with two tall flat-headed dormers. There are five vari-light casement windows, some of which have elaborate catches. A central gabled porch, added in the 20th century, is present. The building consists of two bays, including a chimney bay, and features run-out stops to the chamfered bridging joists.
