Description
Little Owls, also known as The Thatched Cottage, is a cottage that has been converted into two dwellings. It is one of a pair built in the early 18th century. The structure is timber framed and plastered, topped with a half hipped thatched roof and featuring a central chimney stack. The building has one storey and attics, with tall flat-headed dormers. There is a five-window range of diamond leaded casements, which have elaborate catches. A door is located to the left, along with a small 20th-century lean-to. The cottage consists of two bays and a chimney bay, with run-out stops to the chamfered bridging joists.
