Description

This barn, located approximately 40 metres south west of Shelley Hall, dates back to the 16th century and has undergone some alterations. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a red pantiled roof. On the west side, there is a weatherboarded midstrey, and an outshot extends to the north. The north gable apex is also weatherboarded. A brick plinth supports the structure, and the east wall is reinforced with three large buttresses, along with angle buttresses on the south side. Additionally, there is a blocked segmental headed arch on the east wall.
