Description

11 Market Place is a 15th to 16th century timber-framed and plastered building located in Lavenham. It features a cross wing at the north-east end where the timber framing is exposed, and the roof is tiled. The building has two storeys and a two-window range. The cross wing includes a two-storey oriel splayed bay with casement windows that have glazing bars. The main block has a modern shop on the ground floor and a modern casement window on the upper floor.

Inside, the cross wing has moulded ceiling beams. The roof structure is enclosed but may still contain remnants of a crown post roof.
