Description

The Gun House is a 15th and 16th century building located on Abberton Road in Fingringhoe. It features a cross wing at the south end and is constructed with timber framing and plaster. The roof is covered with red plain tiles. The building has modern windows, and at the north end, the upper storey projects out, supported by a moulded bressummer and bracket. Inside, there are moulded ceiling joists from the 16th century.
