Description

White House is an early 17th century house located on Abberton Layer Road. It is two storeys high, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building features a four-window range with modern casements and a modern porch that has a gabled red plain tile roof. There is also a lean-to extension on the south side, which has a rectangular plan and four bays. The timber framing is exposed on the exterior.
