Description

Bakery Cottage is a mid-19th century brick building located on Layer Road in Abberton. It stands two stories high and features a grey slate roof. The front has a three-window range with horizontal sliding sashes that include glazing bars, all set within segmental heads. At the rear, there is a lean-to. The cottage is a good example of 'Rat-trap' bond brickwork.
