Description

The weatherboarded outbuilding to Forge Cottage dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and black weatherboarding, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building features three full height 19th century commercial type casements. It was presumably originally used as stables, a coachhouse, and a forge.
