Description
Duck End Forge is an outbuilding, originally the Old Forge, dating from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a gabled roof made of corrugated asbestos. The building is one storey high with an attic and features one plain window, one board door, and one plank and muntin door. Inside, there are through bracing and small hanging knees supporting the tie beams. A red brick chimney stack is also present. Duck End Forge is part of a group that includes Forge Cottage, The Thatched Cottage, and Duck End Cottage.
