Description
Barn Close is an outbuilding that has been converted into a house. It was likely originally part of The Old Forge, which is located to the south. The building dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber-framed structure with painted brick infilling and curved braces on the first floor. It has a hipped tiled roof and casement windows. There is a ground floor extension at the south end, and the building consists of one storey and an attic, with two windows and two large modern dormers.
