Description

Central House is an early 19th-century house and shop, now used as a house, located on the west side of Village Street in North Chapel. It is a two-storey building with two windows. The exterior is of red brick with grey headers, with the ground floor painted. It has an eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. The first floor features casement windows. The ground floor was originally a shop, and a continuous fascia remains, although the rest of the shop front has been replaced by two small, modern bays.
