Description

Fordwich House is a former outbuilding, probably dating from the 17th century, which was converted into a dwelling. The original Fordwich House was destroyed by fire in 1928, and this building represents what remains. It is a timber-framed structure of two storeys, with red brick infilling between the timbers, and a tiled roof. Three gables are visible; two to the south each have a single window on both storeys, which are modern casements. The gable on the right is largely modern, rendered, and connected to a range of outbuildings.
