Description

By the Way Cottage has origins in the 17th century, with significant features added in the 18th century. It is a two-storey building constructed of red brick, notable for its steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof and a wood modillion eaves cornice. The front facade has three casement windows on the upper floor, with the outer two windows containing three lights each, and similar windows with segmental heads on the lower floor. A plain door provides access to the property.
