Description

Byway House is an older home that has been refronted, featuring a dentil cornice dating from around 1700. The building has two storeys and an attic, with the front elevation stuccoed and a tiled roof. It includes one dormer and three windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars. There are iron balconettes on the ground floor window. A 19th-century gabled porch is present, along with a 19th-century red brick addition at the back. Inside, there is a good staircase.
