Description

Spring Cottage is a small, mediaeval hall house with a crown post roof. It was originally timber-framed but was refronted in the 18th century. The cottage is two storeys high and built of red brick with a hipped tile roof. It has three windows on the upper floor and two on the ground floor. The windows are casements with wooden lintels and no glazing bars. A plain door provides access to the interior.
