Description

Bow Cottage is a building with 18th-century origins, likely refronted in the early to mid-19th century. It is located on the east side of Fordwich High Street, combined with Nos 3 and 4. The building is two storeys and constructed of brick, with a hipped tile roof. The upper floor has four windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has one modern window to Bow Cottage, a modern bow window to Bow Cottage, and two hung sashes with glazing bars to Nos 3 and 4. These ground-floor windows are topped with slightly segmental arches and rendered lintels, like the doors. The door to Bow Cottage has a hood supported by brackets.
