Description

Fourdoun Cottage and Oak Cottage, originally listed as River House and Fordwich Cottage, are a timber-framed house, likely a hall house, that was refronted in the 18th century. The building is two storeys high and constructed of red brick with a hipped tiled roof, featuring a dentil eaves cornice. It has five windows, all hung sashes with glazing bars, and the ground floor windows are topped with segmental arches. The four doors, leading to Oak Cottage and Fourdoun Cottage, each have small hoods supported by brackets.
