Description

Duck End Cottage is an 18th-century or earlier cottage, with alterations and extensions made in the 20th century. It is timber-framed and has rendered plaster walls. The roof is covered in red clay tiles and features five gabled dormers. The cottage is one storey high, with an attic space. It has a four-window front, with 20th-century diamond-leaded casement windows. There is a 20th-century open-gabled porch with a red tiled roof, and a 20th-century board door with a window above. Three brick chimney stacks are visible: one external and two others. The cottage is included on the listing for its contribution to the group value of buildings in the area.
