Description

No 13 in Lavenham Market Place is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 15th or 16th century, which was completely refronted in the late 18th or early 19th century. The building has a slate roof at the front, featuring a modillion eaves soffit. It stands two storeys tall and has a four-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars and square label moulds. The ground storey includes a double-fronted 19th-century shop front, and at the north-east end, there is a doorway with a Doric doorcase that has plain columns and a cornice.
