Description

Garden Cottage, located at No 15 and No 16 on Lavenham High Street, is probably a 16th-century house that has been refronted in modern red brick. The building features a hipped roof that is tiled and stands two storeys high. It has a four-window range of double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two modern bow shop windows designed in a 13th-century style with glazing bars, a central six-panel door with a wooden doorcase that includes panelled pilasters and a cornice, and a carriage entrance at the north end.
