Description

Tithe Farm Cottages is a 17th-century lobby-entrance type farmhouse that has been converted into three dwellings. The building features a timber frame that is entirely encased in brick and has a pantiled roof. It stands two storeys high with attics and exhibits varied fenestration, including 19th and 20th-century casements. The ground floor windows have cambered heads, and there is one doorway located opposite an off-centre axial stack. The structure includes two dormers and a later gable-end stack, as well as a continuous lean-to at the rear. Inside the middle dwelling, there is an embattlement moulded beam, likely reused from the 15th century.
