Description
Nos. 51 and 53 on High Street are former miller's houses, dating from around 1840. The buildings are constructed of brick with a flint gable end on the east side and feature a pantiled roof. They are two storeys tall and have a symmetrical facade with three bays of sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor windows and front door are adorned with rectangular moulded hood-moulds. The eaves are supported by twin brackets, and there are stacks at the gable ends. There have been later extensions to the original structure.
