Description

Old Mill House is a former miller's house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a black pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with three bays of sash windows that have glazing bars, all set beneath skewback arches with slightly cambered soffits. The front door is panelled and is framed by a re-used doorcase of the appropriate period, which includes reeded columnar pilasters. The house also has a dentiled cornice and a hipped roof, with two stacks located at the rear.
