Description

Rattle Row House is a 17th-century house located on the west side of High Street in Wicklewood. It features an underbuilt timber frame with one brick gable end and a later brick side extension. The house has thatched and pantiled roofs and consists of two storeys and an attic. The windows are scattered, with some surviving 18th-century windows that have metal casements and horizontal glazing bars. There is a gable-end stack with angled shafts and a pantiled sloping dormer at the rear. A 20th-century porch has been added to the rear. Inside, there is a central staircase with a newel and a single shaped flat baluster, as well as an open fireplace.
