Description
Greensleeves is a 17th-century lobby-entrance type farmhouse. It features a rendered timber frame with gable ends, and the ground floor is faced with brick from the 18th century. The roof, added in the 20th century, is made of concrete tiles. The building has two storeys and includes some surviving 18th-century casement windows with glazing bars, alongside some 20th-century replicas. There are two front doors, one positioned opposite an off-centre axial stack. A winding stair is located on the entrance side of the stack. The farmhouse displays jowled wall posts, massive arch-braced ties, and a clasped purlin roof with reduced principals.
