Description
The buildings at 2 and 2A Fair Green date to the 17th century and have undergone later alterations. They are timber-framed and originally plastered, with tiled roofing. The buildings now appear as an early 19th-century villa, with twin gables featuring ornamental barge boards and easing windows with labels. A small, pointed casement window is located above the central entrance, which has an 18th-century six-panel door and a patterned fanlight, all within a wooden case with a flat hood supported by brackets. There is a wing extending to the east and to the rear of the main structure.
