Nos 55 and 56 on Denmark Street are an early 19th-century small semi-detached pair of houses. They are two stories high, each featuring one window, and are rendered and colourwashed. The roofs are covered with pantiles, and there are labels above the doors and windows. These houses are part of a group that includes Nos 37 to 45, 47 to 58, 60 to 63, and 65 to 67 on Denmark Street.
