Description
Fair Green House is an early 17th-century building that has been altered over time. It is two storeys high with an attic and features two windows on the left side. The structure is made of painted brick and has a front gable with mullion transom casements. There are remnants of pargetting on the gable where a casement window is located. The central and right portions of the house are one storey with an attic, featuring two gabled dormers and pargetted panels on the front. It has a wide door and a mullion transom window. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there is a large red brick chimney with six octagonal flues topped with spiked capping and a moulded base above drip moulds. Additionally, there is one window on the return side facing Denmark Street, which is next to Waveny House. Fair Green House is part of a group of buildings that includes Nos 28 to 36, which face the Green, along with Nos 82 to 86 on Denmark Street.
