Description
Cock Green Cottage is a 17th-century cottage, with early alterations, situated on the Fair Green. It is a one-storey building with attics, featuring three square-headed dormers. The roof is continuous and covered with pantiles, including Hatters. The walls are rendered with decorative panels. A pointed doorway sits centrally, and the ground floor has four multi-light casement windows. Nos 28 to 36 on the Green form a group, as do Nos 82 to 86 on Denmark Street. NMR photographs exist of the cottage. No. 32 is now incorporated into No. 33.
