Description
This bridge over the moat, located approximately 30 meters east of Stanfield Hall, dates from the 16th and 17th centuries, with some rebuilding in the early 19th century and various repairs in the 20th century. It is constructed of English bond and Flemish bond brick and features two round arches supported by buttress piers on either side and between the arches. A string course runs over the arches, and the parapets are designed to splay outwards. The parish boundary between Wymondham and Ketteringham runs along the center line of the bridge.
