Description

The bridge over the moat, located about 50 meters west of Westhorpe Hall, dates back to the 16th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a low profile with a slight curve. The bridge has three low double chamfered segmental pointed arches. Between the arches and at both ends, there are triangulated breakwaters that mirror each other on both sides. The inner face of the moat has right angle returns, while the western side has splayed abutments.
