Description

Nos. 11 and 13 Colegate are a pair of houses dating from the 18th century, with 19th-century single-storey rear additions. There is a badly weathered date stone at the rear on the first floor that reads either 1726 or 1762. The houses are constructed of painted brick and have a pantile roof. Each house is two storeys high and has two bays. The door is located in the outer bay and features a rectangular fanlight with lozenge glazing bars, pilasters with triglyphs, and a flat hood. The ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars and segmental arches, while there is a central blind window on the first floor. A paired bracket cornice completes the design.
