Description
26 Lower Goat Lane is a 19th-century shop building located on a corner site. The structure is rendered and features a pantile roof, rising to three storeys with three bays facing Pottergate. The corner shopfront is from the 20th century and includes corner and end doors. The adjacent No. 18 has a late 19th-century shopfront, which features a partly glazed door on the left side, a three-light window, and narrow pilasters. There is a yard entry at the extreme right, marked by simple pilasters and a flat hood. Sash windows with glazing bars are present throughout, except for the left-side first floor. The building is topped with a paired modillion cornice. This listing also includes Nos. 26 and 28 Lower Goat Lane.
