Description

14 and 16 Lower Goat Lane is a building dating from the 16th century, with alterations from the 18th century onwards. It has been rendered and features a pantile roof. The building has three storeys and originally jutted out at the first and second floors. It consists of three bays and has a 20th-century shopfront with a recessed door on the left side. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars and simple moulded surrounds, while the second floor has casement windows. A box cornice completes the design. The building has been combined with another structure to extend through to Upper Goat Lane.
