Description

The bandstand at Waterloo Park is a structure built between 1929 and 1933, designed by A Sandys Winsch. It is made of stone and concrete and features a plain-tile pyramidal roof. The bandstand has an open square shape, supported by a single pier at each corner, which holds up an entablature and the roof. It is located at the center of a significant group of buildings within the formal layout of Waterloo Park, which is recognized in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II.
