Description

The main gates and railings to Waterloo Park were built between 1929 and 1933 by A Sandys Winsch. They are made of wrought iron and feature red brick piers. The design includes a pair of driveway gates with an overthrow, flanked by straight and then convex curved railings on either side. This structure is part of a significant group of features in Waterloo Park, which is recognized for its group value. Waterloo Park is also listed in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II.
