Description

No. 10 St. Martin at Palace Plain is a former house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the late 18th century and features a rendered exterior with a pantile roof. The building is situated on a corner site and has three storeys with two bays. The entrance is located on the right side and includes a door with a rectangular fanlight and pilasters that support a small hood. The property has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars and plain surrounds, with side lights on the ground floor. A dentil-block cornice adds detail to the design. Additionally, there is a two-storey oriel window on the side, which has tall lights that were removed from Calthorpe House.
